You should never feel deprived or use willpower when you’re reducing your cigarettes. (Even if that means you won’t cut down as much.)
Using willpower through the program puts unnecessary pressure on you and does not allow you to make the most out of the lessons because you’re not in a good state.
If you ever feel you’re using willpower or feel deprived, it’s better to smoke and then reflect on it so you can learn – instead of using willpower to wait, smoke anyway, and then feel bad about it.
Our goal is for you to change how you view smoking, not cut down, and feel deprived.
